Since Im posted in YellowKnife I thought I would share a few pics...
As I write this its -30 degrees outside.....yup thats what I said....but thats nothing it has been as cold as -50..where jet fuel turns to jelly.....Although strictly speaking Yellowknife isnt the Artic...when I go up to Inuvik and points further north...trust me....its the artic

Wont let me post more then 8 pics
Some of the pics are from the fall, the Northern lights are from earlier in the winter as well as this past week...hope you like em...by the way the ice road is wider then a football field is long....

nope I do Critical Care Medical-Evac....using fixed wing, as well as rotor....we fly into land locked communities and stabilize the sick and injured....we then evac them out to a tertiary care facility. Its an unforgiving area of the world....So much for global warming...

Amazing is an understatement. Those auroras are beyond words. Looks like I've got something else to chock up on my list of things to do.
