My Stratus is sort of an import... it was made and assembled by Mitsubishi. It also has a 3.0 SOHC V6 putting out more horsies than a stock 3800.

As long as it doesn't have the Mitsubishi emblem on it...

An interesting question though: are the GTO and G8 imports? Because they are Australian....but they have the Pontiac logo.

While the G8 and the Goat have been adapted considerably for duty CONUS, and produced by a GM subsidiary, they are still imports. saying that, they are still very enthusiastically NOT rice. V8 FR drivetrain weighing in as much as they do with a capability of handling families going on vacation with a considerable aftermarket that is still affordable for the middle-class (barely) *gasping for breath*...nope, not rice, and only technically import.
