I talked to Lukes mother a few minutes ago. Luke supposably commited suicide over his ex girlfriend. I dont know if anyone really knew the situation between them, but she cheated on him for a year so i guess he commited suicide. he will be missed. i just cant believe it.

His mom had this to say to me. Told her i would pass it on to you guys.

He wanted me to tell all his friends "without you guys, i wouldnt have made it this long, The guys at GrandPrix.Net may the love of cars live on without me"

jawdrop No way. I had no idea it would get to this point. I thought by everybody chiming in that he was good to go. I wish I lived near him, I would go to his funeral.

Boosten gtp, was he your friend! If so you think you could get footage of his funeral if you can.

He was a very good friend, but he lived in Kentucky, no footage for me frown but his mom said she wants to get a grand prix meet maybe in the summer so all of his grandprix.net friends can come and see his family and resting place. i told her i would pass the word on to everyone, and let you know if there is a set date when she wants to hold the meet.

EDIT* a few pics for everyone.

Wow I can't believe it, it sounded like we helped him put everything into perspective in his other thread. I'm really sorry to hear this.

R.I.P. Luke

I think the least we could all do is put that in our sigs to remember him.

I would be down for the meet in the summertime if the date could be set before august because I go back to college. I would have to catch a plane there instead of driving, tranny not in good shape right now.

I can find no words that do justice to the sorrow of this tragedy.

You will be missed Luke. I just wish there was something we could have done to still have you with us today.

This just plain sucks. I knew he hadn't posted in a while and I was beginning to worry, especially since I owed him a passenger side headlight bracket.

I hope he's in a better place now. God bless him and his family.

I dont want to sound like an idiot or anything, but i think luke is alive. "someone" deleted me off his myspace. and so i searched for his myspace, and its now private, but it has been updated. I think i was talking to him when "his mom" told me he died. i think hke played all of us.

His myspace page has been set to private. The reason you can't access his page anymore is because you have been deleted as a friend. When a myspace page is set to private, only freinds can access the page.

Someone did log onto his myspace page yesterday (3/20) and there has been some updates done to his page.

I hate to say it, but I think you are right. Luke is alive and well and trolling around.

What are the odds that his "mom" had his myspace password? A majority of parents are oblivious to such activities.

What town was he from. We should be able to go to the local paper online and look for a death notice.

Dudes, look how quickly you all turned, what if he did kill himself? I agree it sounds a little fishy about the myspace thing but who knows, maybe someone else knew his myspace pass and gave it to the family? I'm just saying, we shouldn't assume anything right yet until we do actually know. I think that would be the respectful thing to do.

1) I for one didn't turn on him. I was suspicious from the beginning.

2) Yeah, it makes perfect sense that if his family members had access to his myspace page they would go and start deleting his friends.

3) I AGREED that it is fishy about his myspace page but i'm not going to jump to conclusions and say he's "alive and well and trolling around" just because of this.

I'm not going to get in an arguement with you again over this because I am going to treat Luke (whether he be alive or dead) with some respect.

That's why I suggested a little research first.

As for theone I too at first thought it odd he was online quick but I assumed he was released to his parents care.

If we know what county he lived in we should be able to access the county records. Death notices are available to the public.

Go on to facebook. He has 4 girls as friends. Friend one of them or friend one of their friends. And start exploring the walls and what not.

Wow, this is the first I heard of this. I was pretty sure that he was all straightened out. I hope he is alive and doing well though. I mean, suicide is not a very good solution for any problem. Please keep us informed whoever is doing the search.

I would rather he be alive so I could just be pissed at him (for playing this site and all of us). If he's not with us anymore, his family might not have any obituary in the papers. I knew a few kids that left this world too soon and none of their parents had obituaries in the papers.

For those of you looking to research, you may want to sign up at (or watch) his high school's home page on myspace.

I hope this quandary can get resolved soon.

I'm willing to bet either Betty Colvin (270) 786-1512, or Linda Colvin (270) 786-1158 is his mother.

Is all this researching really necessary? If he passed that sucks. He took the easy way out of a tough temporary situation. If he didnt, fine let him play games.

if this was a game i really want no part of him or anyone else who had anything to do with it. i mean the good thing in all this is him not being dead. but if he was a close friend of mine and did something like this he would be wishing he was dead..maybe he just wants us to think hes dead ban him and be done.

and just to add minors that die from suicide normally are not in the paper alot of them are untracable.unfortunatly i did lose two very close friends in highschool from suicide over their breakup.

Thanks for the update.

All I have to say is it's sad that some one feels so lonely and insignificant that they have to play on peoples emotions by faking a death to feel appreciated/accepted etc.

If what 98 girl says is true I hope Luke can find some help and wish nothing but the best.

Obviously boosten had a part in it.

Anyway, I wash my hands clean of it. Carry on.

So when do the "RIP's" get removed from all the sigs now that this myth has been busted?

its just wierd thats all im saying i dont know either of you to know how you are and im not trying to be mean either but from my stand point its just odd that you was the one who told us and was adoment that it was his mom and so on it would have been different if that starting thread was more like hey guys i called to talk to luke today and something wierd happened they was suppose to be his mom and she said he commited suicide but then went into detail that he said his love for cars will live on through grandprix.net and hey lets get a meet together sometime...it sounded like a hoax from the start and i think a good thing to do in the future is make sure you get facts if not...wow there will be ALOT of corrections throughout your life. dont take this the wrong way either because i not being a B**** or trying to be its all just wierd. BUT OWELL

I know jeremy enough to know that he does not have the nerve to do something as inconsiderate as making something up that someone committed suicide. ok like u said u dont know jeremy so dont go and start accusing ppl...ya i also thought something was weird about the whole situation...but u dont see me going and accusing the guy of being a part of it...sorry for the rant but im gonna stand up for him cuz i KNOW he had nothing to do with it.

x2 i talk to jermey about every day and i KNOW as well that he didnt have anything to do with starting it, its just like saying dont shoot the messanger, all he did was pass on information that was given to him even though it was the wrong information.

Since Luke is alive and well and the starter of this topic has requested it be locked, this thread will now be locked so it can quietly move on down and off of page 1.
