Much better for the auto enthusiast.

Last weekend major car show
This weekend I have tickets to Monster jam
Bought tickets for NHRA southern national. By the way first day qualifying tickets are $14 including pit pass 12 and under are free!!!!!!!
Have an international auto show in april

Man this place is gettin better all the time!!!!!!

Maine was so far away never got to do any cool things like this. NASCAR in NH was just too dang expensive.

Sweet deal!
Monster trucks come here, but the place they go is so small all they do is burp their throttle and hit the ramp that's right in front of them. They cross the finish line while they're in the air. I've thought about making the trip to Houston to see them there, but haven't done it yet.

be thankful you aint in Savannah. Ppl there are so rude, the drivers tend to aim for those not from SAV, and the marshes OFTEN stink. But if you walk with some buddies on River Street or Tybee Island, you should be alright.

Must agree, though, that GA is a GORGEOUS state with lots goin on. I kinda miss the place. But it sure aint the American Desert Southwest. Man, Im gonna miss it out here.

I wanna get out of this winter crap. I wouldn't mind moving south or west. I would like to go to Cali. or Texas myself. I heard GA has some big bass down there, wouldn't mind throwing a line in those waters! I only like IND cause of no auto state inspection. Which in the end can either be a good thing or a bad thing, I guess.

North California is REALLY nice, up near the sequioa forests and along the coast. South California is where you don't want to go. Too bad it's so freaking expensive to live there.

Texas is fine until summer. It gets so unbearably hot, mid 100s have been average in recent years, and we do get tornados. We had one about a year ago that tore up some of our trees, our wireless internet receiver, and did some pretty good wind damage to our house. Other than that, it's nice to live here. And cheap. We have one of the best standard of living vs cost of living scenarios.

life aint so bad here is southeast VA...we do have personal property tax (which I despise) but weather wise its pretty good...snow is rare and summer does get hot and humid but not threat-of-death hot...but we are WEAK on car related events.

i hate indiana, i hate the cold... i would love to move to florida and live there again, but probably not gonna happen at least not before i turn 18... i've always said that if you dont live in cali, you cant move there. it's way too expensive to move to cali, a $150000 house in indy costs over $500000 in cali. My dad was out in Oakland last week and he says he has no idea how people do it, if you dont own a car you have to take the bus or the tram and it could take 2 hrs to get to work and you could live 15 miles away, 2 hrs to work, 8 to 12 hr day, 2 hrs home, 12-16 hrs away from your house and family every day

Not all of CA is like that. Lol. Plus wages are much higher. When I lived in the south bay my wife was working as a temp making anywhere from $13-$25 an hour. When we moved to a rural part of SoCal she was with the same company doing the same job but the going hourly wage was $7-$14. It's all relative.

there is a slight difference in heat dry heat isn't a problem i grew up in Mojave California. here in Texas it will be 105 with 100% humidity and its the humidity that sucks not the heat.

Word.

It's heat-oppression, I tell you. It's worse in places near the coast, like Houston. frown

I was hopin I could bait yall! And I did! Whoopee! Me and Mike been sayin it for a while, and those poor unfortunate souls who have never been to the desert always say there's no difference in dry and wet temperatures.

Any way, it was summer time, and here in NM it was about 105-115* with like 30-40% RH, dew points in the single digits. It was HOT. Well, I get to 'Bama for that leadership school. It was only 90-100* with like 90-100% RH. In the last week that I was there, we were doing a combat operation exercise, and I found myself drenched in my own sweat (no dry spot on my uniform ANY WHERE) about to pass out, unable to get a good solid breath, and on my way to the ER for a couple IVs and an electrolyte rush.

All that to say: I intimately know the differences between humid and dry weather. I hate Hate HATE humidity. Anything over 50% is unacceptable. Bordering on illegal. I find humidity offensive. lol.

Haha. You're such a goober, Rick. lol

I've never been to the ER for that, but I passed out once from heat. That wasn't fun, so I can't imagine having to go to the hospital.

I hate hospitals, they give me the heeby-jeebies. frown ..

Haha. Heeby-jeeby. Almost as fun to type as to say. .... *cough*
