I was headed to Williamsburg today on Rt5 when what to my wondering eyes should appear but a silver Pontiac Solstice...at a distance it almost passed for a Vette. Low stance, high wheel openings and with the top up it almost looks like its been chopped. The buttresses on the back of the top give it a sleek profile. Some wider tires and a rumbling exhaust would make this one badazz sports car. I don't know what king of performance its packing, but its got the look...I also saw in my latest edition of Car and Driver where a Solstice "Club Racer" was at the SEMA show in Vegas. Besides a rear wing,ground effects and a fiberglass hardtop, it was sporting 325hp!...I dont recall if that was a turbo or supercharged 2.4.

I too prefere the looks of the sky to the solstice. I thought I read somewhere that the saturn will have a turbo option. Don't remember where and can't find any info either. Now that would be one cool ride.

Word on the street is that an LS2 Conversion is just a "bolt in" application on the Solstice. Coincidence? I think not.....
The General may actually have something up his sleeve this time.
