If someone would like to create a cover for the calendar, please feel free.
No rules, your creation.

*****

I guess I should add that if there are more than one covers submitted, they will be put up for vote.
If only one cover submission is entered, it will go up on an approval vote. If the majority approves, it will be used.

The pic must be a high megapixel size in order for it to look it's best once printed.

Oh so it's high res images only? So it can be photo shopped with all that freedom? ie: bunch of feathered out cars (fading) into background and different designs?

As long as your end result is a high megapixel pic, it'll be fine.

Example... look at the size of the high megapixel pics you sent me for the calendar. That should be the starting size of your canvas for the cover, all you need to do is fill the space.

I can't use a final size pic of 600x800, I need really huge end results like somewhere around 2800x3100-ish.

Thank you. When you had no rules I was going to create one that was like 1290x1080 but that wouldnt even have been enough. I'll get started soon on the cover.

I will resubmit all the designs that i created for you.

I think we should post all the pictures that make it on the calendar and have a voting for the #1 picture and that picture should be cover shot and than we can design a cover that way. I think thats the fairest possible situation for this calendar. Whoever has the best shot deserves the calendar cover and the spotlight!

The voting won't show a result of a #1 pic, it'll only show the #1 choice of the second shots.
All first choice entries made it on the calendar.
That's why the call went out for a cover design, To allow an outlet for a member to show their work as a cover for the calendar.

Once I have 12 pics, I'll post them in no particular order.

i understand that bobby, but im suggesting that once are 12 spots r filled, we should have a voting for the #1 pic to make it on the cover and then someone can make the best out of that pic for the cover of our 2010 grand prix net calendar.

If you want your submission to include the #1 vote getter, once I post the 12 pics you can create your own post to vote on who everyone thinks is the best pic so you'll have your canvas to start with.
The cover is in the hands of the designer.

Def like it better this way, we can be as creative as we want on this which is cool. I'm glad the only real rule is just size and dealing with the pontiac calender. This should be very interesting to see works of others. Thanks for the creative freedom on this one AustinGTP

*Bump*

If we have images from other sources on the internet (for things such as backgrounds, brushes, etc) must we give credit where credit is due for these?

I've got one entry so far.
Is anyone else working on an entry?
