Well I have many classes but have been getting really good GPA and doing amazing in my classes, but I feel like its too easy. This isn't something I should nesscarly complain about but I figured college would be harder, push me alot harder. Im going to Brown College (sorta like a private college) and its here in Minniapolis and it just feels way too ez. Im wondering if I should take action and possibly look for a college that may challenge me a bit more? I wasn't exactly amazing in highschool and i feel like highschool was even harder.

I do like Networking though and theres only one other place in iowa that offers networking and its actually farther away then where im at in Minnesota and its a community college, so maybe I should look at schools outside of Minnesota and Iowa? Idk im looking for guidance.

You in gen ed classes or major classes?
I did great in HS and felt challenge in my college classes. Community college was a joke. But once at UCF, in my business classes, I actually had to study a little more than 30 mintues before class.
If you are going for Networking, not sure how they have that as a major, it doesn't seem like they could fill it with hard stuff.
If you are enjoying the college life, then enjoy it while you can. I miss it, even though sometime going to classes and tests were stressful.

first two years are easy/boring for most majors, upperclass classes are when things get interesting. I would stick with where you are, who cares if its easy? The GPA and the degree are what employers are going to look at. Take advantage of the easy classes while you can.

i wish my classes were easy...

If the classes are easy, then everyone can get a degree there. What do you think your degree is gonna be worth from there?

I would get a harder major, or change schools. Unless you love what your doing, in which case, take more time to go out and have a good time.

what year are you? I did great my first 2-3 years at Kettering. However, this last year has been really rough.

I agree with ^ordonez^. If it is an easy school to get in and get good grades, I am sure employers know about it and will judge you on that fact. Might be time to look somewhere else.

Haha, I did terrible my first two years of engineering curriculum, and great my last 2.

Hope the job search goes well when you get out, with the shape of the auto industry...

Im in my 1st year, 2nd quarter and It just seems really easy. These are the Gen Ed classes so maybe that explains it but I really love computers and dont think I would change my degree away from them.

I dropped out of my electrical engineering degree before the first semester was even over because it was too easy.

Now I'm in a graphic communications program and couldn't be happier. It's still easy but ti has something that my EET classes didn't have; fun and a creative outlet.

So don't drop out because it's easy. If you are going to drop it, do it because you want to persue something else. You don't want to waste all that money do you?

Im a senior and its hard as hell but it was easy for me the fist two years of college other than working to stay in school, but it will get harder, trust me. I got an A in math my fist year of college and I did not have an A in math since like 6 or 7 grade.

You must be a rocket scientist. Or a crappy school that didnt teach you anything... I have heard no one that is an engineering student (including myself) that thinks it is easy by any means.

I was a good student in high school and college was pretty challenging from day one. It wasn't necessarily hard as it was just a LOT of work.

How many credits do you have?

I went into Engineering at a Big Ten school. 17 credits per semester. I know my first semester had a US Government class, Calculus II, Chemistry, and 1-2 others that I don't remember. Calc II kicked my butt because I couldn't keep up with it. The rest were easier, but not easy.

The 4th and 5th year of my program was more fun when we got more into material science, CAD/CAM, manufacturing and my MBA degree.

I don't think I ever considered any of it "easy".
