Well...My son is DONE with all of his CANCER TREATMENT!!!!! He had his last round of Radiation this morning. WOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
Now we can try to get on with a normal life....
HE's DOOOOOOOOONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He got to ring a bell to symbolize that he is done with treatment.... Here's the pic:


I'm so proud of him..he has been through hell and back a few times. I know that if I had to go through what he did, I would probably give up. I look up to my son...He's just so tough....I'll hve to take a pic of my tattoo that I got of him when he was first diagnosed with cancer. He's a fighter..I'll tell you that........
Sorry for going on and on...Just too friggin happyyyyyyyy!!!!

He still has to go in a few times a month though for checkups on his internal organs....for the rest of his life....and take some pills....but the hard part is OVER.

Woohoo! The road gets much easier from here. Congrats to your whole family - you guys have been through more than almost all of us could even imagine.

Congrats Texas! Hopefully he will never have such a great hardship in his life again, but any obstacle that pops up he will be able to know that he beat the cancer and he surely can beat anything else to come along!

Thats great ,I know sort of what you were going through my wife had cancer a few years back and has been clear for 5 years.The worst is over guy I wish him good luck and good health for many years to come.Chico.

I(We) appreciate all your kind words. After he ran the bell, we had to walk through the waiting room (the cancer/radiation waiting room) and everyone was standing up and clapping. Just cheering like crazy......That brought more than a few tears to my eyes. I sit here and think of everything he went through and get all choked up. I drove all the way back to our hometown yesterday(4 hrs from the hospital) with tears in my eyes. He is coming home Saturday, and I have a huge banner to hang out front for him, some balloons, and a cake just for him to let loose on! That'll be a pic!!!

Now I just have to find a job so we can get back on our feet...haven't worked in a year now.

Congrats to your whole family on your son's conquest over cancer. I hope you son has a joyous life ahead of him right next to his mom and dad, especially learning about cars (Grand Prix all the way) and family unity.
