Okay, what is this? I assume its EVAP purge valve? I pulled this lonesome guy off the back of my engine today, no sign of any vacuum hoses or electrical connector... If this is my purge valve, what is this, above the MAP? Purge solenoid? Whatever it is, thats where the vacuum tube coming off my throttle body is going. And what about this connector on the front of the engine with no vac line, also part of the EVAP? Doesn't seem to be sucking any air in with the engine running...

The last pic is a Boost Control Solenoid, and the upper port is a vent. There is usually a gray foam piece covering it, which rots away over time.

No problem, the first one may be an EVAP Canister Purge Valve, but my book shows it to be square with the electrical connector and vacuum/vent ports facing the same direction. Not sure about the second pic, looks familiar but my '98 books don't show it.

Found out the top one is a "Evap tube switch" according to rockauto... And the second thing IS evap solenoid/valve. I have yet to see a complete description of this system in our cars, I guess. Anyone know how where this is supposed to be connected on the GTPs? I have no idea how this tube switch fits into the evap system, anyone heard of it? I'm starting to think it doesn't belong on my year, I see it listed under electrical-switch/relay at rockauto for my '97, but no such entry for the '99.
