My grandmother (my mothers mother) says to me the other day, I really like your pontiac. I'm going to buy it off of you. Made me laugh. Then my grandfather says to me today, so when are you gonna let me drive that thing i have to see if its as fast as my truck (1999 Chevy Silverado 1500 Ext. Cab). Funny as hell. The 70 year olds are after my car!! laugh

My grandpa is the same way. Everytime he sees my car he stares at it and talks about it a lot. I asked him if he wanted to drive it, but he said no. I know he wants to, but for whatever reason he wont admit it.

ya my gparents both like my car, only thing is i wouldnt let them drive it, i dont know how people do it, letting other people drive their cars, like i was down in tennessee and people were drinking and everything and this dude was like man my car is way up there, and this guy is like take my car, but it happens all the time down there. Nobody drives my car but me, i even hate it when my parents drive it, lol

Well my grandpa is my car's previous owner so he knows all about it's capabilities. He hasn't asked to drive it again yet but I think he will soon. In the meantime he has his 2007 Grand Prix GT (with the s/c engine) to play with and I think he figures if I let him drive my car then that means I get to drive his laugh

As of 2006, I believe, the new gp gt's come with a supercharger.

D Bold,
Your grandparents obviously know a sharp car when they see it; age has no bearing on car appreciation. Case in point: Jim Wangers cool
My 81-year-old dad still loves cars, and helps me out when I'm working on them... thumbsup

does that mean it doubles as a personal floatation device?...I think its great that guys hold onto their love of cars until old age (I sure hope to) but maybe they need to let go of their love of hair (Patrick Stewart has the idea...although I heard story that he used to sport the worlds worst comb-over until his ex-wife chopped it off on his birthday one year)
that is one bad rug lol
