I am a clean window freak. I want to just make my own wiper fluid. What is the best mix or where is a good write up? I go through the tank weekly and I don't want to keep going to the store of a bottle of fluid.

lol

It'll be easier to just buy the washer fluid then it would be to buy the ingrediants and mix etc.

For clean windows, my weapons of choice are Sprayway and Rain-X . You can get a 4 or 5 19oz. can bundle of Sprayway at the warehouse stores like Sam's Club for around $7.50, and clean windows until your arms fall off, and for the lazy types there's Rain-X Bug Remover Windshield Washer Fluid wink
If you want to make your own wiper fluid, you can just Google "homemade wiper fluid" for some recipes. smile

You'll need to install our nitrous-assisted wiper motor kit, of course... crazy

My guess is a vinegar and water mixture. Not sure if ammonia would ruin the paint. If it doesn't it would probably work better.

RainX does work but I've heard they eat away at the wipres, even though they aren't used much.
