I didnt think any chevelles got a 427...
Anyways, if you have 2 chevelles (one 70, and one 71) that are indentical (ie: 454SS) the 70 will be faster, as they had 4 barrel carbs and 71s only got 2 barrel.

Im not 100% sure on this, but my dad had a 70 Malibu (base model chevelle) and a friend of his had a 71. His was a little bit faster.

Anywho... my dream car would be either a 68 or 69 corvette with the L88 427, 06 (or even 02-04) Corvette Z06, of Ferrari F50

I didn't say it came with one I said I want one with a 427. smile Preferably something along the lines of the L71 out of a 69 vette. An aluminum headed 427 with 435hp. Or even better the all elusive ZL1 an all aluminum 427. The power of a BB with the weight of a SB.

I would have to go with a 70 Hemi-Cuda or a 69 Z-28 You got to love old muscle cars.

I don't think the 1971 Chevelle came with a 427 option. I know they still had the LS5 454 but got rid of the LS6. I know the 1969 COPO Chevelle had the L72 427 though.

read my post again. Maybe I should explain myself a little more. I love the 71 body style with the single headlights but even though the LS6(454) made more power from the factory I'd rather drop in a L71. I like the torque/hp curves of the 427 better then the 454. Bore and stroke ratio is close to that of the 350 which makes it much more mod friendly and achieve much higher gains while keeping the curves nice and flat.

Whoops, my bad. Didn't catch the first sentence of that before I typed the last message. Personaly I like the the 70 better because I don't care too much for the lights on the corners. Either way I'ld take a 67-71 Chevelle over almost any other car.

Realisticly id like to have an older american muscle car, like 1970 chevelle SS, or maybe a corvette stingray.

in the supercar department, id have to go with the Koenigsegg CCR
Supercharged V8
806 HP
0-62 in 3.2 sec.
1/4 mile in 9 sec.

the list of awesome I'd love to own is far too long to list here (yes, I'm greedy, but its a fantasy so I can be that way)...as far as an existing supercar goes I may have to lean towards a Lambo Diablo Roadster (in black with the wing of course...there's a fantasy Batmobile)...but if money were no object I would be at Troy Trepaniers' shop to have him build me an awesome custom ride...check out his site at www.radrides.com ...and make sure you take a peek at the projects as well as the gallery...Rogans Hemi Cuda is Bad-to-the-Bone but I would have gone with another color (just not a big fan of silver)...I can envision my T-Bat lowered, hammered, channeled over a custom frame that supports a potent C5 drivetrain with a custom ram air hood,a gently scalloped wing out back and a removeable glass targa roof (I'm swooning just thinkin about it!) crazy lol

T-Bat, you should photoshop my Grand Prix with T-tops. I think that would look pretty sweet.

Besides a finely tuned, slightly modified Dodge ram with a firm cummings turbo that tears up ricers on the strip. I'd say a muscle car. I think that if you go by the muscle car idea that the largest engine should be put in the smallest body then the Yenko 427 Nova tops all, but that is just one formula for an ultimate muscle car. I'm sure others in this forum think differently than I do...
