The problem with Pink (or going on Pinks) is that it doesn't matter how fast your car is. It's all about negotiating.

All Out is where the actual racing is. You'll notice there is a severe lack of imports (can't figure out why).

That's another reason I don't like Rich. In one episode, some sort of import got into the 16, and he said "Now that's what I'm talking about." So, apparently not only does he know nothing about cars, but (maybe because of that?) he likes imports.

I did see a black civic and a black 72 Nova race on pinks. I believe they went heads up because they both did below 12s or something. It was actually a pretty good race. The civic lost by 1 race.

I like watching pinks but the problem with the show is someone can sandbag slightly. Then at the very last race, all of a sudden their car can go warp 6. Then the loser looks stupid when they play "Walk away!!" That part is funny but at the same time very annoying.

you mean this one. and for the first ever import to make it into the top 8 out of 200+ cars its a pretty nice accomplishment. and there is nothing wrong with a honda civic running sub 10 sec. 1/4 mile times. it could even have a full body kit, huge wing, and neon lights it would look g** as H*** but its still faster then your car.

OK, update: I will be there. Kev, Bobby, Slick, Arc, or anyone else in (or close to) Texas, if y'all are interested in meeting up, lemme know. My friends and I are driving up Saturday morning (which sucks, cuz I will close the night before, so I won't even get off work until 2am), and we'll spend the night, see a couple of the sights Sunday morning, and then leave in time for me to get back to work late Sunday afternoon. laugh

So...anyone else plan on being there? Or will I be the only GP? (if that's the case, I'm just riding with one of my friends. lol)

I'm thinking about it for late in the afternoon tomorrow. I've been cleared by the wife, but I'm still not 100% that I'll go.
I've got yard work to do that didn't get done last weekend, so that's my first priority.
