i cant get the cylinder out.. i found a hole the only thing that fits is a bobby pin but it wont release it... the neg is disconnected

my aftermarket alarm cant prevent my pump from priming correct?

i ripped out the top plastic piece for the steering console, found out i was aiming for the wrong spot.. got everything disconnected after work all i have to do is drop it an pray... what is the next thing i should look for if this switch doesnt work?

yea im getting really tired and frustrated with it that i ripped the top plastic off of the steering column cause i couldn't get the cylinder out... oh well ill buy a new one later..

I know that the stock alarm system disables the fuel pump when armed, so your aftermarket one may do the same thing. Just something to consider...

i was thinking that too but with the new switch installed, i havent spliced it into that can it still be a factor?

just thinking if it supposed to prime for 2 sec by the time i get to the fuse box should i still be getting volts at the relay? or would i have to be there within the few secs

i was able to get volts by touching the end of the wire and the other end to the battery it was reading around 11 something, when testing the connection at pump for either one i wasnt getting anything how do you ground the wire for the multimeter?

place the negative lead of the DMM to any UNPAINTED portion of the block or frame.

ok i am getting power to the pump.. the battery is giving me around 11 volts and the pump is getting a lil more the 2.... im going to demand a new battery, y am i only getting so few volts at the pump? bad ground?
