Did anyone watch Rides last night?

They showed a very flexible piece of plastic and they sprayed it with chrome and they bent, flexed, twisted it right after they sprayed it. It didn't flake, crack, split or anything. It was very flexible.
They said if you can paint it, they can chrome it. It looked very sharp.

Actually, in this years Chicago Auto Show, there was a concept car that was made out of shiny chrome. I am not lying. Can't remember what car. Just be careful of driving near it during a sunny day.

Yes you can paint an entire car. Most situations its considered Ghost chrome ($748. gallon), But the best availible is Chrome FX (As you saw on TV) Unlike Ghosting, The FX cannot be bought as a paint, more as an applicator(system). I have had several plastic/poly/carbon/metal and fiberglass parts painted in FX Chrome for the engine comparment of my dodge ram. Worked excelent and made me smile. Excelent durability. With the right coats even an excelent fire re-tardent. Long story. For more information check out http://www.alsacorp.com/chrome.htm . Better than my worthless explanations

It's hard to find a local that can do the work, im not all that up with ghost chrome, you dont need the applicator for that but i'll have to look into it for you. I tryed to get a price from my bill but i cant find it. If i do i'll give you the cost for a place here in NY.
