because i raced one the other night and beet it with my mom car witch is a 1997 skylark grand sport 3100 those cars have 3.5 250 hp

What year 300m? The newer ones run with a Hemi so yea he probably wasn't racing there pretty quick

the ones with the Hemi are 300C, the 300M is a totally different car that was killed with the release of the C model, it never had a Hemi.

the 300M has a 250hp OHC 3.5 six...300M Special (18in wheels, ground effects and dual outlet exhaust) gains 5 more hp and lower gearing...if it was a 300m and it was stock then I'd still say he wasnt racing...I've driven a couple of 300M's and they were every bit as fast as my GT.

The 300s are sweet looking cars. Does anyone know how reliable they are? Ive heard lots of bad stuff about chrysler cars.

2.7's are junk. They're known as the sludge motor.
My wifes been eyeing them. I told her there was no way I was going to sign any papers for one of those, unless it has the Hemi in it.

Chrysler's "Wing" logo even looks like a Bentley logo rip off.

I saw a black and chrome one with big chrome rims and tinted windows and it look really nice. Also much more affordable than a bentley.

We took my friends 300M down to Bristol over the past weekend. It's a pretty quick car; not off the line though. The motor would really light up around 4 grand. GTP has much more punch off the line.

You went to Bristol? I'm jealous.

One thing I must do in my life is watch a Bristol night race live.

I have never been to the night race live. Only the spring race. The track is in a great area and the folks are very friendly. We had a really good time. Highly recommended.

the 300m has the intrepid r/t motor 255hp 3.5 litre piece of dodge. its junk the only dodge thats halfway decent is there diesel trucks. the new hemi isnt the whole hemi engine its only the hemi head with the everyday crap dodge below it. THATS WHY I BOUGHT A GM! DODGE IS CRAP!

I dont want to start a flamer here but I will have to take issue with the previous statement...while everyone here is entitled to their own opinions, I have had nothing but good luck out of ChryCo products and can easily find a couple of message boards full of LH car owners who will heartily agree...EVERY car manufacturer builds its share of lemons...NONE of them are perfect and I have seen and owned my share of problematical GM products...that being said, the new Hemi is a clean sheet of paper engine that does not share components with any previous ChryCo V8, while true it is not a pure hemispherical combustion chamber, that is not the most efficent design out there...I think they did pretty well to bring a 340hp engine to the showroom that still gets the mileage and runs on reg fuel...and if the 3.5 R/T engine had the kind of aftermarket support that we enjoy with our cars they could be a force to be reckoned with...If you had a bad experience with Dodge then I'm sorry cuz nobody like a bum car...but that doesnt make them all junk.

The only Dodge/chyrslers that I've had first hand experience with are Neons, and I'd have to say that they're crap. Thier new 4x4s are very nice though.
