Last videogame topic has all but died so I figured I'd see how everybody is enjoying this current era in home entertainment?

At present, I'm enjoying playing Metroid Prime 3: Corruption on my gf's Wii. Just replayed 1 and 2 before we went and bought 3. I must say, I am impressed and amazed and look forward to another, hopefully past the time of Metroid: Fusion and continue with the story a bit.

Other than that, I've been playing Fallout 3 on the PC. I like it a lot, maybe not as much as Prime 3 but that will change once the G.E.C.K. (mod tools) come out. Looking forward to making some really awesome guns wink

Lastly, I'm looking forward to Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts, which I'll be getting for Christmas. Loved the first, never played the second, but this one looks like everything I could ever dream of.

I was in a bad rut of no video games for a long time. College football season pretty much consumed the past 3-4 months of my life. Now that it's over I picked up my XBox again. I finally beat Assassin's creed and now I'm just collecting the flags to get the full achievement points.

My wife got me Guitar Hero World Tour for Christmas and let me have it early. I'm not really a GH fan (this is my first GH game) because I'd rather play my REAL guitars. But, our friends like to play it and I have to admit it's grown on me a little bit. Still no substitute for the real thing, but it's fun. I'm about 60% of the way done with an easy career. I really need to bump it up a notch, but I want to get the "easy mode" achievement first.

I've also dusted off ncaa 09 and I'm unlocking achievements for that as well.

There aren't really any new games out that I really want. Probably the next one that has caught my eye is the Ghostbusters game scheduled for next June.

When I heard rumors that the Ghostbusters game was going to get axed, a part of me died inside.

But it's still going and it certainly looks promising. I just hope the gameplay is up to snuff. I'm a little worried that all the effort put into making an extension of the (excellent) movies may put enjoyable gameplay on a backburner.

I'm loving the PS3 I got a couple months ago. Currently playing GTA: IV, Battlefield: Bad Company, and Grid.

Grid is the best racing game I've played, IMO.

i just finished fallout3 last night. the ending was pretty cool. ( not goona spoil it ) by the end my guys karma looked like jeasus lol

i tryed the mortal combat vs. dc universe game and i think its sick. yea the storyline is short but all mortal combat games are.

i still want to see one racing game like gran torismo or forza have a gp in in it that would be cool. even tho it wouldent be as fast as we would like it to be lol smile

Still playing Fallout3. JUST like Oblivion, but with firearms. BTW: GameStop had told me that there are like 200 or so endings. Time to go find the other 199, Mac.

In Oblivion, I have something like 120 hours. I'm the big honcho for Dark Brotherhood, Fighter's, Thieve's, and Mage's Guilds. Something like level 36 Khajiit. When fully loaded coming out of a cave, I'm carrying like 700-800 pounds of crap. Just sold off like 2 tons of cave-loot, which netted me something like 300,000 gold. Next up, try to finish the last 2 Daedric quests, misc. quests, alchemy quests, then finally take on the main quest.

Finished AC6 a few times. That was a good game. Still waiting for NFS to get back to the days of Hot Pursuit or something. Simply not digging the current format. Does nothing for me. If I wanted that much control, I'd buy Gran Tourismo or something.

I went through about a year long slump from playing any video games. Then one day off work I fired my up my projector and picked up the 360 controller again.

I have been waiting 8, YES EIGHT!, years for Diablo 3 to finally come out, and it has finally been announced and should be released by Summer 09'.!!!1!!!111!! So excited, it looks amazing.

Other than that, been playing UT, GOW, COD, Halo3, Forza and BLACK.

Even went back and played Final Fantasy 7 for PS (and only FF7, the rest are junk) the second best game ever, besides Diablo.

FF7 was the greatest game ever made for the PS, and possibly the PS2. My wife STILL plays that game from time to time. We even got the Knights of the Round Materia. That is a no-joke kind of spell. Still yet to beat the machine in the desert outside the casino and the underwater machine. Those aint no punk. I was able to beat the last iteration of Sephiroth without the Knights, but that only worked once. My wife still yet to beat the game. Poor girl.

Haha, funny you should mention that, FF7 has been my outlet recently (on the PC). I'm on the third huge materia quest, just finished collecting all the "hidden" materias.

One other game that I play occasionally is Albatross18, an "extreme" golf game, lol. http://a18.ogplanet.com/main.og

I've been enjoying GTA 4 for PC because of its farther draw distances on PC then in the consoles. As for other games I also have been playing Left 4 Dead which has really got me going. I play with my roommates in coop and formed many squads within it, very fun game.

Rick, I absolutely hate Knights of the Round, it takes WAY TOOOO LONG. I wish you could disable the animation sequence. The easiest way to level up your chars and materia is to go to Mideel and fight the monsters there in the forest.

The monster in the desert by the Gold Saucer area is much easier than the Underwater guy.

Their is so much I could go on about FF7, it simply was the greatest game of its time and will be a classic, for sure.

Makes me want to watch the Advent Children movie now lol.

Did you ever play the spin off of Vincent Valentine? Dirge of Cerberus, it's a 1st person shooter for PS2.

Herc, when you get COD:WAW hit me up (Awesome game, i'm addicted to the online play)... and anyone else that has it on PS3.

Been playing some Madden and NCAA from time to time. Also MGS is a fun game to put in. Other than that, the games on the market suck.

Waiting for UFC Undisputed '09, Resident Evil 5, and the new God of War for PS3.
