After reading that Herc couldn't wash his car due to a water shortage I thought I would post this up. This is not an ad. I'm not a representative of this product.

I've used the classic Dri Wash n Guard for several years. It's certainly not a substitute for a wax job, and far from a 3 step clean/polish/wax, but has proven to me to be a superior cleaning product. I've used it on some pretty heavy buildup after some road trips and very impressed with the results. No water necessary with this product, just a few clean terry cloth towels.
Like I said, I'm not a representative for this product, so if you have any questions I will be happy to tell you if I have a real experience regarding your query or not.
It doesn't remove oxidation, however it may cover it up(some what) to temporarily improve the looks of your car.
It really does assist with bug removal, but so does water with a bit of elbow grease.... I think the DWG aids with NOT scratching the paint with bug removal.
Watch the overspray..... Try to avoid spraying in the cracks/crevaces and grills. The overspray can leave an undesirable white residue.
I use it on windows and trim... No ill effects..... But again, the overspray in the fine lines of the trim can create extra clean up time in the end.
Typically I wash and wax my car, but I still use this product as a detailer if my car is dirty on show day.... A good example is 2 years ago I drove 140 miles to a car show with a nice detailed car to start with.... After the road spray and misting on the way, I got to the show and used the DWG to detail the car again. I took 1st place in my class for that day.
