Is it worth the 59.99 price tag?

Thats why I don't console game. Consoles aren't TOO expensive, but the games are what get you... I can just download stuff for free on the PC. smile

Well it's not too bad when you play it for a while get bored and trade in/sell the game. But yeah it can get pricey.

That's because they lose money for each console. Or at least, they used to, I don't know if they still do or not. I know at first the PS3 cost something like $900 to make, but they sold it for less than that otherwise they wouldn't sell any. Both Sony & Microsoft made their money off the games, not the systems.

I believe it, the cell processor is an amazing bit of engineering.

Then you get trojans and virus's and all that nasty stuff.

Plus it's just downright being a thief wink

I don't buy first anymore I rent first if it's a highly replayble game I'll then buy it off the previously played rack.

BS, I've never had a virus/trojan. But you're right, it is stealing. However, if I actually like the game and it stays fun for more than a few hours, I will purchase it. So, kind of like renting.

I kept sitting there going "You could do that in NFS:MW. That too. Yep, that one. OK, that looks a little better done, but still not new." Then he got to the drifting and got my hopes up. Despite him claiming he did a couple drifts, he didn't do any. And the handling of the car he has just looks stupid. It looks like at 180mph it can take a 90* turn without the slightest bit of traction loss. Lame.

I saw that the other night. I thought the graphics looked awesome. Don't know about the "drifting" he did. Might be a fun game.

There are like no good games out for either system really. I'm waiting for God of War 3, UFC Undisputed 09, and Resident Evil 5 to come out, but that's a long wait right now. Who knows they will probably have to delay it too.
