Well here is the new video equipment setup! If anyone some how (since most aren't in Florida) need video taken for an event or what have you, give me a shout!! Thanks! The Canon GL2: There is a on board mic, right above the lens. However, I went ahead and purchased, with three other items, the Rode directional mic. That is the long one pictured above the camera. The Rode mic is mounted to the MA-300. Which I had to purchase with BHphotovideo. It has two XLR inputs for connecting external audio and video. I will be using it for my wireless mic setup and holding the directional mic. This is the front view of the wide angle lens I bought with the other three items with BHphotobideo! Suppose to come with first package. This is the wireless mic system. It is a Lavalier setup, for use by pinning the mic on a groom or individual to capture audio. One is secured on the individual, while the one on the right is the receiver that mounts to the camera. This and three other items I had to purchase at BHphotovideo since I did not get this in the scam package!

I'm disappointed. You spend all that money on the camera and you didn't even bother to film your car. Shame on you.

o.0 Looks like a nice lil' camera. I'd love to see some footage taken with that sucker. Would be nice for events like TMS and such.

Oh, ok I gotcha now Rook. I just need to use it some to get a handle on it and before it gets broken!
Or maybe 0-144 runs via HUD! PS. I forgot to mention it takes still shots at 1.7 mega pixels, not great, but handy!

If you need a tripod or monopod, you can check with Amvona. They have good, strong products. You can either visit their website or buy from ebay. The prices are much better through ebay, tho and I've bought a few pieces from them. You can luck out and get some great deals from them if you use ebay. Shipping is a little high, but you more than make up for it with what you end up paying for the equipment ... most of the tripods, monopods and heads start out at 99 cents. I got a $200 pan head for 99 cents and 15 shipping!

Right before the wedding today, we had to go out and get a better tripod. The piece of crap came with my scam package, was just to weak. It wobbled with the lightest movement. And adding all that crap to the camera, makes it top heavy. We got a $90 at BeachSide photo here in town. Not bad tripod for quick buy. Not shown in this picture.
