Yep, that inline 6 is a nice engine...I got to drive my friends truck with it before. Even when I slowed down in OD and the RPMs really fell off it could come right back up to speed. I liked the 4 speed and his clutch too...firm feeling, but not hard.

Friend of mine has a 95 Chevy 1500...4.3L V6, and I had driven it before as well, and I thought the odometer said 260k...well I talked to him last week and he said it'd been a long, long time since it said that...so 360k I believe. Still has lots of power, I've followed him before in my car and it doesn't make a smoke cloud or smell like it burns any oil. Clutch pedal is a little too hard I think, but other wise it's a pretty good truck. Never would guess it has that many miles. The paint job still looks good, only place that it has rust (that I've seen) was in the front of the hood. Very good truck.

I used to be a supervisor at BNA (nashville international airport) and all of the tugs on the ramp used inline six ....very durable engines
