I'm looking to gather information on the 3800 V6 motor both for GT N/A's and GTP's. Looking for diagrams that show off engine components, gaskets, you name it. Is there any online sites that show the info I'm requesting or is this something I need to go to my public library for to find info on? I would like this thread to compile information sites about our motor and offer diagrams, pictures or whatever you guys can find that will help me better understand what will be involved with the top swap. Information regarding parts that are not involved in top swap are not needed by me but feel free to post them up because I'm sure someone could use the info besides myself.

Your local library should have repair manuals. Those should have all the info and diagrams you need. I prefer Chiltons but I'm sure Haynes works as well. The best would be getting actual GM Service Manuals but if you don't want to spend any money then hit up the library.

I figured local library would house most. I will look for those manuals. Better take a notebook and a binder to house any photocopies that I will need made. I'm going to try and get in there as much as I can.

*Update* I looked at FAQ and found the ohio library site for auto repair manuals for free but the site is down or maybe its just an invalid link now? I'll let you guys take a look @ it to as the site may be back up by morning but I have no idea. Would be nice if I could see manuals online.

Gpona has an in depth GM service manual. Goes into motors trans etc
