Global warming my arse. I've owned this house for 10 years and this is the most natural gas I've used in a month since we lived here. I've gone through almost 1/2 a cord of wood already in my wood burner(only burn on weekends)too. I'm ready for Spring.

Now the forecast for this week is:

Date Mon Tue Wed Thur Fri Sat

High 19 27 30 11 18 30

Low 10 21 0 -6 6 12

That is not a typo. Minus 6 for Thursday morning.

I'm sure glad I no longer work the flight line.

Wow, thats a heck of alot colder than we're going to see up here in CT. It's supposed to be upper 20's lower 30's all week. Last time I checked, Kansas is a little further south than New England lol. What's up with that?

In my 21 years of life, it has snowed 4 or 5 times that I can remember here in Texas and all but one of them has been in the last few years. My mom and dad agree - we've seen as much snow in the last 5 years as they have the entire rest of their life.

Like you said, Chevman, global warming my arse

Agreed. Average lows for this area is supposed to be 28-35. Tomorrow I go to the range. It's supposed to be 11*, high 28*. And it's gonna get colder the further we get into the month, the colder it's supposed to get. And we have a storm on the way in. It's gonna be a miserable month. Rock on.

I think it has something to do with the weight of the earth in relevance to its origin in space many years ago.
You have to think, using up its resources and also the billions of people that have been formed on this planet.
Weight change is my argument.

I fail to see how. The Earth is held in it's orbit by the sun's gravity, not by it's weight. And I seriously doubt it's weight has changed much anyway.

I guess Montana's cold has gone elsewhere this year. Here are headlines from the web:

Winter Could Be Worst in 25 Years for USA...
Britain braced for heaviest snowfall in 50-years...
Elderly burn books for warmth?
Vermont sets 'all-time record for one snowstorm'...
Iowa temps 'a solid 30 degrees below normal'...
Seoul buried in heaviest snowfall in 70 years...
Midwest Sees Near-Record Lows, Snow By The Foot...
Miami shivers from coldest weather in decade...

Oddly enough, as I said earlier, it has literally been warmer up north here in CT than it's been in South Carolina lately. Still pretty cold, but when states in the South are in the teens, something doesn't seem quite right

Got into the 40's today, 33 tonight. That's cold enough for me.

News is calling for teens here in Fort Worth this week. I thought I left those temps in Maine.

should the 2-4" of snow from tomorrow's (Thursday) storm, we're looking at being at the range in 6* lows, and highs not much better than that.

Apparently wind chill tomorrow is supposed to be -17F. kooky And 4-5" snow tonight. Roads were already terrible when I was driving home at 5. I'm gonna go ahead and assume I won't be driving to work tomorrow...

I say this weeks weather is the perfect ending to the Copenhagen conference.

Its been about 15 degrees all week. 10 this weekend. We've had about 18" and 30" in areas nearby. Definitely had some good 4WD tests in this week!
