Not sure how you can fix it but using touch up paint on a car and getting it to not stick out is a very detailed process. If you just put a dab of paint in the spots you wanted to touch up that's probably why it looks so bad. Also did you make sure you got the right color?

Here are some links to guides to scratch repair using touch up paint. I'll be using this one to do a full scratch repair on my car once school gets out (you may have to scroll down a bit to find it), but you can also use this other one even though they are pretty much the same.

No problem. Once I do it I'm gonna try and do a write-up to throw on here too with pics and everything to make it a little easier.

Good luck though, let us know how things go.

I've had good results with Meguiar's 3-Step Paint system (Paint Cleaner, Polish, Wax), it hides swirls pretty well just not nearly as well as Zaino and doesn't last as long either. You can get it at Autozone though.

If you just want to wax though I highly recommend Mother's FX SynWax, been using it on the GP and my mom's Outlook over winter and into the spring and they both look great and it lasts for a while too. I'd even recommend substituting it for the Meguiar's wax in the 3 Step process.

I'm a fan of Mequiars.

Paint cleaner actually strips the paint of any wax, oils, and light oxidation. It will also remove any hairline scratches if you apply it a few times.

Polish is the next step. It helps fill the hairline scratches that the cleaner couldn't resolve. It also adds necessary supplements to deepen the gloss, kinda like adding moisturizer to your skin.

Wax is the final step. Wax provides a protective barrier from the elements. Without wax your well spent time and effort won't last as long to keep the car looking good.

None of these products will cut your "touch up paint". These are steps to make the whole car look better, not the spots that have signs of serious neglect or mistakes.
