i was wonderin if anyone was currently using nero 7 to burn cd's/dvd's. im tryin to find a program that will copy copyritten material, for personal use of course.

I am using Nero 7, are you not able to burn them on there?

no i cant copy copywritten protected movies. anyDVD sounds good, do you use it? does it copy all your movies?

yep the only problem ive had with it is not having DVD-R that are large enough to copy the movies.

i have a Dual Layer burner but the DVD's i bought are only 4.7GB and i need the 8.5GB disks.

i use 1 Click DVD Copy. i have had it for about a year now and works well for me. although i have made "backups" that did not play sound in other dvd players. i have only had a couple of dvd's not burn. it alone does not break the encryption, you will need another program that works with it that you can get for free such and DVD43. it will compress the video to fit on one dvd, without distorting the picture too bad. i have a 52" widescreen and i do notice some decrease in quality, but play it on a standard 32" or so tv and it looks fine.

you can get the dual layer dvd's but they are expensive. or at least the last time i checked prices on them they were nearly $10 each. you can almost go out and buy the movie used from places like blockbuster cheaper.
