so, I went out to Michigan, yet again lol. Boosten convinced me to come out and it was definitely well worth it! There were easily 2000+ cars at this show, and I was #730. Exiled and MIGPC were both represented very well with Grand Prix's, although there was SOME tension it was definitely one of the greatest car shows ive been to. I have some pics of my car as well as others from Exiled and MIGPC plus some of the other show cars.

That show was one of the best ones to date that i have ever been too.. was definitely a fun time.

Oh and apparently a stock Cobalt SS can take an intercooled 3.2 set up GTP.... just ricer talk after dyno runs.

Which SS? Stock for stock, I know my dad's supercharged SS would destroy my GTP, much lighter weight and smaller pulley. With a 3.2 i/c GP, it would be a closer battle... I suspect the GP might take the lead but too many variables to say for sure.

Awesome pictures! I can't wait to get back to car show. I miss car show last year during engine remove I'm ready to go back again. I already enter my car in car show on June 13th. I'm really looking forward this.

lol ya kevin morgan put down 252 whp on the dyno and a kid came up and was like "thats weak, a stock cobalt can run faster than that modded gtp" I told kevin about it and kevin got right up in dudes face about it. lol event security had to break us up! It was 95* out and the kid talking crap said those r weak numbers for a 3.2 gtp. Kevin's blower was soo heat soaked it wasnt even funny.

Security? Really? Because the guy said his car was slow? I guess this is why I don't hang out with these types of groups.

they mainly went after the kids that started the argument. we were just meerly messing around with them and they started to get all butt hurt. and they started raising their voices more n more. so security came over and told them to go home.

See that name of Exiled & MIGPC that don't surprise me if security is around to break off the "talk". I'm not saying it is fact. Both names I was told & heard that they usually cause drama stuff.

I want to have a good car show. I don't care if that guy say ohh slow car.. my car going to blow your door away! Just ignore him but I'm pretty sure I get disagree for that.

it had nothing to do with the fued between exiled and migpc....it was kevin morgan(on clubgp no affiliation with either club) and some random guys with a 2500 dodge ram....

Exiled and MIGPC got along for this event, at first there was tension, but in the end everyone got along for the sake of the show. Plus presidents of MIGPC and Exiled president had a discussion on what the future holds, hopefully the drama stops :rolleyes:

It sounds like a lame biker gang rivalry.

It's a bunch of adults acting like children over their old Pontiacs.

^^^ I guess this why I never bothered to join any local car clubs, as they always seem to have politics and drama going on, especially at car shows. I once saw two guys from the same club arguing over whose car should get which trophy, and they looked to be in their 50s... :rolleyes:
