i just got the bill today for my blazer motor rebuild and install. $2600, doesnt look like im getting the turbo this spring, might have to wait till summer.

o poor u... darn i'm just gonna have to wait til sept 21st when i turn 18 to really do anything so that i can start my adulthood in debt by getting a loan

BoostenGTP02, could you shrink down that sig. It's over 5mb and it would really suck if you had a slower connection.

$2600 is a lot of money for a stock build. Probably would have been cheaper to find a lightly used one.

I know how you feel Boosten, I'm starting to run out of money for gas for the beast. It sucks because I have 2 summer jobs that I do pretty well with but by the time they're done all the stores have already loaded up with people for the holidays.

Finding a job after the holidays FTL!

well gas money is no problem for me really, but after this rebuild it will be, plus my job sucks, dont get paid good at all, it sucks.

ya im just finally starting to turn around and make money... though my hrs are getting cut a lot now that we're out of the holidays, guess i'll have to get another job...

2 jobs and full time school FTL!!!

where do u work at boosten?

I work at a place called Byron Center Fun Spot, its a roller rink, making 6.50 an hour, its not much but its a job.

and 20gtp02 thats how much i did pay for mine with 140,000 miles. and then a month/500 miles later. BOOM! motor blew, so im better off to rebuild the whole thing, start from scratch, pluss has a 100,000 mile warranty.

got the blazer back today, the bill was breathtaking. $2,657.79 with a 100,000 mile warranty, fully rebuilt motor, with highperformance cam and oil pump installed. im not going to be buying anything anytime soon, broke.

damn dude, how did you afford your GP with all that stuff done on a $6.50/hr salary

I did my top swap senior year in high school as well, I made $7.75/hr though smile
