Ok. Last night, I checked up on my two orders.
UPS package from ZZP and FedEx package from CXRacing.
Both said they would be here today, on Monday. I'm all happy and stuff.
Well. Check this afternoon on the UPS tracker. Says delivered. Look on the porch. No package. Check address. Sent to my gf's house accidentally. Well I call her to go grab it. She says it's not on the porch. I tell her to check the back porch too. She says it's not there.
I drive over there and sure enough, it's sitting on the back porch, she just never looked on the stairs.
So now I've got my T3 turbo flange and 02 extension, just waiting for the turbo package now.
FedEx tracker says it was put on the truck at 4:12 AM for delivery.
No package came. Just check the tracker 20 minutes ago. Said that the delivery attemp was not made and that they will deliver it tomorrow.
...
GRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So now I am set back another day for the welding and stuff. Thankfully I have Wed. off work too...

Ah, don't rush this setup, could cost you more, seems a little tricky.

Guys, I wish I had a camera...
It's so purdy!
I've got the compressor housing rotated in the direction I need it. Tomorrow I'm going to see what I can get done with the welding as well as the oiling.
Oh yeah, lol, soory about that drummerboy. I'll sum it up for you;
2fast4u's friend is buying/bought a 99 turbo GT, there is a topic on it. Well, after reading that, I decided that I wanted to be the first turbo'd GP on our boards. I was SOOO close last time and I wanted to try something new and exciting.
So, I'm taking a moderately sized turbo, putting in in place of my muffler, and then running the boost all the way back up to the throttle body. And on top of turboing the car, I'm still going to use the M90 and rotors so if I'm not the first turbo GP here, I'll be the first twin-charged one.
But yeah, basically, I doing it for bragging rights lol.

I am wondering the same thing. Seems like with it being that far back you would lose the "forced" part of forced induction. Call me a skeptic, but hey man... best of luck to ya with this project!

From what I understand, you lose about 1 or 2 PSI but you have some compensation due to the cooler air from it travelling. With that setup, I questionined the turbo lag but I saw a show that had a corvette with that modular setup and there quote "no lag" (translation: a little but tolerable).

drummer, go on youtube and look up STS turbo. That will make you a believer Also, I've got a link in my other thread, some guy had an 8' (IIRC) Z24 Cavalier and did a remote set-up with the 2.8l motor I think it was. HE ran low 14s high 13s like that. Then he engine swapped to the 3.4 HO and is running mid 12s int he 1/4 mile. Lemme grab the link again... http://www.thirdgen.org/techboard/power-adder/238864-another-remote-mount-turbo.html
