Yes, they are modified in a factory in Germany by a man named Alois (Louis) Ruf.

...anybody watch mega-structures last night, about the Autobahn (sp?)?
They mentioned how Ruf takes these Porsche's and makes "flyers" out of them. Perfect for the autobahn.

I saw that show Bobby - it's insane all the technology they've got working on/with the Autobahn. Cracked me up all those tiny euro-vans they'd tricked out with massive repair tools and equipment for breakdowns.

Yeah, fricking automotive shop on wheels.
They know how to do it over there. Keep the roadway clear at all cost.
An auto club that has many helicopter rescue teams and medical teams.
