Wow, I wish I had disposable income. That's exactly what I wanted when I was getting rid of the GT. Minus the damage of course. Sounds like a really good deal though, if the that damage is all there is.

Really pretty cars... I'd consider one if I had the spare income. Which gen RX7 do you have? I've been wanting one of those too for awhile now.

Niiiice. My ex had one, it was white and he wrapped it around a cement bridge piling in the rain. We found it about a couple of years ago, a guy had bought it from the salvage yard and fixed it. Biggest thing he ever regretted. Good luck, it looks good. Red is the best color. Why not buy the TA engine and throw it in the '7?

I was going to ask for it... :p Seriously, I'd love a 2nd or 3rd gen. If you decide to sell it, let me know.

3rd gens are the bomb. Too bad rotaries aren't the most reliable engine design. I'd really like to own one some day, even an RX8, thought they're not as sexy as the 7.

Yes you can. I found several when looking for a new car.
KBB for a 'excellent' condition 98 TA with 50k miles is a little under 9k in my zip code. The price of F-bodies has an unspoken cult popularity tax in it, honestly.
The prices around where I live are low because there are lots of them. They might be higher where you live because of supply and demand, but I had no problem finding an affordable one here.
