Hmmmm......so I am looking at ZZP and figure $10,000 would get me a 650hp or so motor.

Guess I need to play the lottery more and hope I win.

Think I might start looking around junkyards to see if I can find an L32 for under $500. Maybe I will get lucky.

Do you realize what you're saying? I don't think you realized that diving into head-work is more difficult that a bolt on turbo kit, or a top swap.

And to go with that 650hp you will need a 4-5k trans.

I don't think you have any idea how much work, time and money these crazy builds you seem to think up are going to take...

For that kind of cash, sell the GP and get a GXP, Monte or Impala with a 5.3 V8. Maybe a Z28 or GTO. You will be far ahead in performance to start with.
