Well, in tearing down my L67, the coolant elbow in the intake was damaged. I was gentle, but it separated at the o-ring and left a portion in the intake. This left me having to get a replacement and ZZP is pretty high. I thought we had carried these at work before so I went looking, sure enough there they were. Two in a pack (upper and lower) for $3.99 in the Help section. Beats the pants of ZZP's $6.99 and $8.99 EACH!

Here's the part number: 47065

Good find!!!

I always tell people to have replacements for those ells when removing the LIM, and in a lot of cases the alternator bracket needs to be removed just to change valve cover gaskets.
If you need to pull the alternator bracket, have some replacement Ells available.

Where is the lower coolant elbow? I had my entire motor in pieces and I don't remember seeing it? Maybe I am just retarded. I bought the upper one from ZZP anyways... banghead

I think like 6-10 inches below the upper.

Well, going off what I know about the GTP's, the 97-98's don't have the lower coolant elbow. On the '99+ there are 2 plastic Ells.
