personally i dont like those wheels in chrome...and like u said we will probably say go with the torque stars if you are going to get stock wheels....so ya i say try and find another set of torque stars or go with an aftermarket wheel.

I don't know. I just find it on ebay.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=310045799639&_trksid=p2759.l1259

About star rims... I already have one for 2001. So, I don't think I need other one. I'm not big fan of aftermarket rim. I'm pretty much stock wheel person that look good on our grand prix. I like tri-spoke and star rims.

Interesting... Never seen those before but they look pretty good! The tri-star rims are definitely growing on me, the more I see them the more I like them.

Whoa, that's weird.

They do come in high polished, I have a set, but .. the secondary parts should be gray.

Wonder what the story is there.

Arcs aren't exactly hipo, they're more 'brushed.' It's cleared metal, but not super reflective like the original post.

I'm going to give a shot for this. I already buy it now so if I don't like it then I can give it back for refund. They are from California so it will take while to shipping at Ohio. It also say OEM wheels? I would surprise it is might be a rare wheels? I will get a good pictures of them than ebay one photo.

Today, I saw tan (my apt parking), silver (my apt parking) and white (on road) grand prix with polish with gray on it. I'm only one in silver paint so it is time for get shine one. Should I worry about silver and tan cars that might see my new shiny rim that they might steal it? lol

Those are chromed OEM wheels. You can get a local wheel shop to do that to your ally wheels for around $60/wheel

Those are nice, but don't come stock, must be aftermarket design with the shiney look through out. What about mine, I'll sell you them $160 shipped!

Oop, I'm sorry about that. I remember you will let me know last Tuesday but I haven't heard from you since then. So I figure the deal might off. If I don't like it then I will take it back and get that rim from you. $160 sound good for me but dang I already got this shine rims. It might take while for shipping. I know they are not open until Monday. I will let you know if I change my mind of this shine rims.

After, I took walk around my apt parking lot. I looked the silver car with your rims look. I don't know if gray (two tone paint) look good on my car? It looks like brake dust on it. Maybe he has bad one? I couldn't look because I don't want someone (owner of silver car) think I'm stealing lol Maybe could you show me front and back rim so I can know what it look like?

Sorry for not explain clearly.. Like this example

Front

Back

You still have a crack rim? Just find this on off topic about your $800 story on below...

On a road trip soon after, I hit a bolder on the freakin highway doing 85 and cracked a rim, blew the tire, dent the chassis, and a shop had to pop the steering back into place on the left front side. So I blew $500 right there. That money was going for a nice intake back in 2004. But oh well, I saved money on an intake now!

Um...no...I had to buy a new rim. Mine aren't going to be that clean even if I scrub them to death.

20gtp02: just make sure. I don't like crack rim laugh I understand what you mean. I'm pretty much clean freak. When I'm doing tire rotation. I always clean the rim inside and outside to remove road glime and brake dust. That's how they look good on this picture.

*Nice-Try*: I don't like your 5 spokes too. Just kidding lol

The rim was destroyed pretty much and the tire had a 5" gash in it. I'll see what I can do for you by the end of the week.

STAY AWAY from Polished aluminum, unless they are clearcoated. They take LOTS of time and elbow grease to stay looking that nice. The first time winter salt hits them, you will be sorry. I learned this the hard way last year. I ended up buying soem bullits to get thru the winter, then I spent over an hour with a powerball, small buffing wheel on my drill and lots of polishing cream and rags to get my wheels back to 90% of what they once were.

Yep.

People tend to forget that aluminum alloys corrode pretty quick. Pure aluminum doesn't corrode but it's too soft to use in it's pure form.

For polished aluminum rims use Zoop seal it's expensive but you only use it once a year.Chico(pops)

Chico: thank you for information about Zoop seal. I never own polish rim so I start like them. I still have polish star from my winter beater car for few weeks. So I decide get other polish wheel for my summer car with 3 spoke wheels.
