hey u ever worked with a russian antonov 117?...when i was a supervisor refuelin planes at
BNA we had one come in like 2-3 times a yr...it was a pain to refuel...took like 6 and a half hrs each time lol...compared to like 15 min for a 737 or dc-9... or even a 747 took only 30-45 min lol...that sucker was HUGE!

it amazes me that the antonov can even fly. That thing is freakin huge!! I watched something on the discovery channel about how they used it to transport satellite parts. man, that is impressive.

Nope never have. Haven't even seen one in person.

When I was at Moffet about once a month an AN124 would come in and pick up parts from Lockheed.

we had the antonov come in and actually pick up skeletons for aircraft wings here in nashville... that thing was truly impressive and took every bit of our longest runway to take off lol

I guess I'll play runner up here...47, be 48 in December...married 18years the first go round, two kids, daughter almost 24 (just got married last January)...son 22, stepdaughter 21 (my second wife's daughter)...met my second wife online, been together 6 years, married for 4...been in industrial plastics and fibers for 28years (they've been bought and sold about 4 times so the name keeps changing but same job)...I like cars, woodworking, cars, football, hot rods, good movies, burgers & fries and oh yeah, I've been a carguy since I learned to drive...and romantic walks on the beach at night get spoiled real fast when a stinkin little crab pinches you on the foot (been there and done that)
