Congrats on the purchase, love those comp G's. Were the comp G's only make in 04-05 only anybody, because when I look at gp's on ebay, I usually only see comp g's on 04-05, never 06 and up.

yeah i went to the dealership gave told them this is what ill pay for this gp and this is what they have to give me for my gp in order to make a sale, car dealerships are hurting now so they worked it out

yes the comp g is only 04-05 because in 06 they dropped the GTP name and made the GT2's supercharged.

HAte the white but love the interior on those things, compared to 97-03s.

CAI, different plugs, a GOOD tune!

Yea colder plugs would probably the cheapest and easiest thing to do right now. You could change the T-Stat but I'd wait until spring to do that especially since you live in Iowa.

Also I'd be more than happy to give you my stock wheels to run for winter wheels if you want.

If you can't tell I really want those rims.

a cai will help with knock because it will be bringing in cold air vs the hot air you have going in there right now from the box.

The WizAired is pretty nice. Keep an eye out on CGP classifieds for one, I know I saw one for 04+ models about a week ago.

fuel filter, 605 plugs, wires, maybe a front o2 sensor, headers/downpipe. And use your powrtuner to get your fuel trims in line once you've got the maintenance stuff done, then see where your knock level is.

605 arnt those stock, shouldnt i be going colder like 104's or 103's ? yeah i noticed 6* of knock thismorning when i tryed to scan but it keeps freezing up when i go to save it gets almost all the way finished then it dont wanna save completly

Find a speedbuilt fwi, pretty nice looking.

i just dont like the huge openness they have plus i allways think that with a FWI i will get the filter wet iowa has tons of potholes and they like to fill with water

606s are stock, didn't you read the fight Herc and I had a couple days ago over plugs? However, maybe the CompG has 605s as stock, don't know. I wouldn't go to the 104s until you drop a pulley, personally.
