I'm not real good when it comes to the exhaust of my gp. I've heard a lot about the u bend delete. Did my mechancic do this when he replaced my stock exhaust with an SLP exhuaust?? If he didnt what will it do for my car??

if you got a full SLP exhaust it deleted the exhaust or if you got a downpipe I think, its very obvious if you have it, go to http://www.pfyc.com/store/merchant.mv?Sc...gory_Code=GPEXH there is a picture of the before and after.

First don't start a new thread 3 times on the same subject,if you had the cat back system installed you still have the u-bend ,it is between the cat and the bolt up flange for a cat back ,I would suggest replacing your DP and cat to a RAT DP this would eiminate the u-bend ,and yes it is a major point of restriction,est.5-7hp and with the larger DP and hi-flow cat you gain about 10-12 hp ,you really need to do some homework before you start modding your car.
