BWHAHAHAHAHA... believe me I wish I coulda lined up with him but there was a car in front of me and it was on a 45MPH strip that is covered in police. In fact, one was sitting on the right hand side about a 1/2 in front of us.

You can get up to the speed as fast as you want, as long as you dont break the tires loose . But i know its very hard to not break them loose 0-45. haha

but then again, cops could get you for impeding traffic (disrupting traffic).

i got a ticket for exhibition of speed once when i was avoiding a guy that weaved through traffic coming at me going 60. i didn't see him until he swung around the car closest to me and to avoid being hit i punched it and my tires broke traction and there was a cop right there that just heard the squeal and saw me take off.

That's what I was trying to remember. The law, at least here in Texas, specifically mentions acceleration contests.

What would have been really funny would be to roll up next to him, rev your engine, and watch him gun it off the light, while you take your sweet time, then he gets busted by the cop.

Lol i have been put in handcuffs, but NEVER taken downtown for DRIVING purposes, but for stupid stuff in highschool for pranks and stuff, yeah but it was tottaly worth it.

I got arrested for reckless driving. Other than that, I've gotten pulled over 6 or 7 times for everything from speeding to having the license plate light in the back out. Yes, I got pulled over for that. <_< Got off with nothing but verbal warnings on all of those though, half of them without the officer even running my license because of the conveniently placed "Citizens Police Academy Alumni" sticker in the back window.

To make things interesting, that arrest? I got it dropped to speeding and pleaded no contest, but it never appeared on my record. Insurance never went up, nothing. I found out recently when I did a county records search they misspelled my name, and I can only assume that's why it never hit my record. So, I'm clean.

a guy on a motorcycle forum i belong to got a ticket for leaving a stop light to slow on his bike. when the officer asked why he didnt leave the light faster he said i was making sure an illegal didn't decide to run the red light and hit me.

I've been somewhat of a target, maybe 4-5 times on my car, but never 16 and I have tinted tails, hood, chrome wheels and dark tint as well. Maybe im just lucky?

Nah, Boosten's just paranoid. He doesn't realize that after 16 times, they are only the look out for HIM, not his car. He could be driving a stock Civic, he'd get busted. :p
