I have no idea what that site is about...

Water in a contained system (like steam with a condenser to cool it back down for reuse) wouldn't be a waste. The problem is the power source... if only nuclear devices weren't so nuclear.

You know what I couldn't care less about going "green". I heard that scientists are now saying that wlaking for 1.5 miles is just as bad for the environment as starting up your car.

Not cutting trees or replant some if you did would make a bigger impact than a catalytic converter. The big issue is oil is a finite source. We'll eventually be screwed if we don't find something else.

We won't be screwed but our great great grand kids could be.

There is enough oil in the gulf, off the coast of southern cal and in AK to last a long long time. It's enough to get us off of our dependance on foriegn oil but the so called greenies won't let us tap into it.

It's gotten so bad that if greenies were the way they are now back in the early 70s that the AK pipeline would never have been built.

Hey, i am all for getting rid of the moose. You know the problem with oil is that it is used for more than just fuel. I mean, cutting fuel consumption is only half of the battle. what about the other things that take oil. Think about this, our engines take oil to be lubricated properly. What if they could run engines on vasoline or something? LOL (That was a joke btw.)

Plastic is a big consumer of petroleum.
