Thats actually funny because i hear the exact same thing from many others, Except my friends had his since it came out and he just got the 3 red rings ! and no warranty anymore !!!!

I still have super nintendo on closet. It is still working and zero problem. I know my dad brought me like 1993 or something I can't remember when I was kid. I played them two years ago for "bring some memories back". It was huge different. It was look like crap in 90's. This year, it has better graphic lol

Don't buy a new 360... Go reburb. My little bro got a new one for x-mas and it broke in march. But with smooth talking we managed to get one from microsoft and another back from bestbuy.

While I bought mine in November and it was a refurb and it's been fine since. I'm going to mod it soon xD

It really all depends, some may not have any issues at all. In the past I've had some good Microsoft products but the 360 just seems like the lemon in the bunch when it comes to issues. This doesn't mean PS3's and other consoles don't have their share of issues too. Although I've personally never experienced issues with my PS3 I do know people who have had issues with theirs. Overall you should either get a PC or a Dreamcast (amazing system of its time)
