I took a couple of friends to see it .. I should have stayed. They said the same thing, plus apparently the surround sound was excellent in the theater I took them to see it in, because they harped for quite awhile about how well done the sound was, too. They ended up seeing Narnia as well, and that seems to be quite a good movie according to them. They're both big fans of the books, so it must have been directed pretty well to get their thumbs-up.

I saw Narnia last week and enjoyed that movie as well. But I enjoyed Kong better.

I got advanced screening tickets to Kong and saw it on Tuesday in Boston. It was unbelieveable. Doesn't seem like 3 hours at all.

I just saw King Kong today as well. I have to say that it was AWESOME!!! The jungle scene was my favorite part. It was a little drawn out, but it didn't seem like it was 3 hours. I did doze off a little bit near the end, but that was my fault for not getting any sleep last night. All in all, a good movie going experience. I highly recommend.
