They are good enough for me. I listen to all sorts of music so I want a good sound, not something that's gonna rattle my trunk lid off.

I'll vouch for that Kenwood amp being very good.... used it in a few installs and they're lasting great.

from what ive been reading their big time powerhouses for their size 2. like they put out way more power than they are rated

Those are different subs than mine. Probably newer. My kicker comps are about 6 years old now.

FWIW, I have 12" Kicker CVR's and love them.

Never was a fan of kickers and I have heard the comp CVR's etc and only have liked their square woofers. (but even those wernt amazing). I do like the sound of MB Quartz and Alpine though along with some infinity woofers.
