I hear guys here at work all the time gritching constantly about the price of gas. yet they all drive full size pickups with 4wd...and if you get behind them on the interstate when they leave here they drive 80mph...not exactly the most efficent driving style. I'm personally leaning towards buying a smaller 4cyl ragtop to commute with and then I can do some other mods to my GP.

The oil companies are going to continue to stick it to us as long as we keep buying it like we do. We slowed down once before and prices slacked a bit and we/Detroit went crazy with v8s/trucks/suvs...so we as the consumer public are partially at fault...bottom line is that even if it drops a little cheaper than it is now it wont stay that way.
