I usually went car show often. Now, first time I decide to take my Pontiac Grand Prix in the car show for Pontiac only at Columbus. There is link for registration form from pdf.

http://www.gtoaco.com/pdf/shows/2008_GTOACO_SHOW_FLYER.pdf

My car is 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix SE. I will have F1 hood install soon and also slp spoiler too.

I want to make sure before I start fill it up. It is my first time so I'm learning. wink

What should I put about bodysytle?
Make select... "1990 & up stock Pontiac" or should I put "all modified Pontiac" because of change for f1 hood and slp spoiler?

Thank for help...

Oh thats not far from me. If I could guarantee myself the fender would be on and my couple paint issues fixed,... and intercooler done.. I'd be there.

Palsut, where are you from in Ohio?

If you have the hood on then check all modified. No hood then stock 90+

This show on June 22nd so I believe I have everything covered.

I have nothing to do so I was hoping install this weekend.

One down and one to go. Any idea about bodystyle?

Thank for help.

buy some simple green and spray down your engine bay. do a nice extensive detail on the car also. Seeing as your engine is pretty much stock just clean everything up to make it look real clean. definately need to see some pics once you are done with the install on the hood and spoiler...oh and BTW idk if you looked at the thread on club gp lately but your spoiler(if your buying the one from wood dash experts) my need some modification as far as 2 or 3 drill holes because the guy said that they were off...just thought id say something... smile

Thank for remind. I do have simple green. I don't think I need open the hood during car show. I mean it is stock SE so I don't think they like mine lol I think it will look great when F1 hood stay down for good looking wink Yeah, I saw that from clubgp. I guess I will have to wait and see if mine is not match on holes. I see you are interesting to buy it on July. I will let know if my spoiler fit into holes then maybe this guy got error install holes from this company. When I ordered last Sunday and I use live chat for what's up with this spoiler? They told me my paint was done last Thursday. It will probably hit out shipping on Tuesday. I hate long delay but at least they are very cheap shipping (under $30) than pfyc like ($130)

I have 2 SE with 3.1 engines. They are 2003 and 2001. I don't know why you get GT information.

Now, I make signature to clear everyone next time. lol

Yeah but I'm keeping this engine stock only. I'm doing appearance only so I don't need any more powerful. The SE have a good gas since the price went up the roof so I have no problem for doing 55 mph wink

That's okay. Just wait until your 3.8 engine caught on fire soon from many fire recall lol

They make a good SE engine so it is not on fire yet. wink

Your entering a GP SE with a hood and spoiler in a car show? ,FYI it takes something special to even come close in a car show and always have your hood and trunk open and windows down it's about the complete car not just one or two mods, wait until your ready and go to a bunch of shows and see what it's all about ,as far as your engine show it but have it absolutely spotless.wWhen I get ready for a show it usually takes about 40hrs.of detail work and this is on a garage kept seldom driven car,I know your excited to start showing your car but be patient and work on that car and attend lots of shows to get ideas.Chico(pops)

Thank for tip. I have been in car show few times. Actually, I would like to tour for every Pontiac cars too. I know that I'm not going to win it because I know it is SE. I just want to have fun around this cars. It is not like special car show. It is just Pontiac show only. I have seen some worse like rusty car than mine so I think I'm safe for that laugh Oh, I'm not doing F1 hood or spoiler because of car show. I just like new appearance look. Reason I buy it because I got me other daily winter car so I don't want summer car get damage like rock, stone and winter salt.
