I like this forum very much, but sometimes for the ones who doen't know much it would be great to have:

1. Meaning of all that Initials you use ( FWD, RWD, FWI, ) i know this but it would be helpful to have a kind of vocabulary.
2. The technical info of our cars, with the upgrades it had in every new model.
3. A place where anybody can put his expenses in every repairment or upgrade, so we have a friendly database of this.
4. Kind of GRAND PRIX PROBLEMS but with the "How I Repàired it" cause in the GP Page usually says "WARRANTY" (not very helpful)
5. An album for the member's cars.

Well this is what i'd like to see in your page...will you accept members from everywhere or just local?

Congrats hope you have a very good page!!!

Alex cheers cheers cheers

I would definately like to see a list of detailed walkthroughs for the common mods, you could use links to tac if you want but I think it would look better if you built it into your site, maybe a list of recals or a link to the GM recal list. I would definately like to see (anywhere) a list of the approximate expected gains from each mod, or a chart that might help you guess what power level you are at, and maybe help you choose which mods to do next. Something like a suggested mods order list. (definately a whole page that exlplains the need for having a scanner if you mod your car) Lots of pics, some information about the different vendors and what each of the owners has done with thier grand prixs (mainly the intens and zzperformance GTP's). Maybe a list of all the different changes from year to year in the grand prix models, again you could use a link, a list of all the special edition models like the pace cars and the F.1 edition and the others (with pics), agian you could use a link for this.

This are just a few that I would put on an informative page for the pontiac grand prix. One thing I would stress is that for the most part you can pretty much find out anything you want to know about anything you want to know it about on the internet, if you konw where to look. The thing that makes a webpage good is having a lot of resources that are easily accessible and all in one location. You have to make people say "sure I can go to club gp and read about the fastest grand prix's, but I would rather go to herc's site cause its easier to use, or it looks better, or even I like it better" ya know what I'm sayin?

Great suggestions.

Maybe you could dumb it down even further with lots of pictures and "Required Tools" for each mod or repair along with "Estimated time". I like to know what I'm getting into before a launch a project: knowing what I should expect to see, what tools are needed, and how much of my day it's going to take up.

As far as structure, I think maybe a "mod" section and a "repair" section. Have each one broken down like pfyc or zzp (drivetrain, brakes and suspension, exhaust, etc)

If you could include GM part numbers that would be cool.

Maybe upload the owners manual if you can get it in Pdf format (not sure if you'll have a copywrite issue here though).

Definitely need a comprehensive link to all the part suppliers.

Just a few more ideas...

I think there would be a copywrite issue. Isn't there an address for online manuals??? Thought I saw one recently.

heres what I've thrown together so far. It's not much but it will get there. The FAQs page needs some editing I know it tweaked out on me when I published it so I'll make changes. Don't flame too hard.

Excellent start. If I had access to something like this, I would not have asked so many dumb questions. laugh
