During my visit to the dr. office. I was reading up on some MotorTrend stuff. Saw this cool experience in there. I would definitely love to do this. $1,295 is the price to drive 5 cars. Not sure of all the details, but to take a passenger it's only anothr $250. Something some of you may want to check out also.

Drive 5 lux exotic cars

I've read about that before and I've seen the cars in transport out on the interstate...for the price that some hi performance driving schools get this is in the ballpark...pricey to be sure but when else would you get the chance to handle a true Lambo or Ferrari?
very tempting.

I've seen those but for the price I'd rather do a driving school and actually learn how to handle one and even get some laps around a track.

Sounds interesting, but I don't have that kind of money, and if I did, I would have spent it on MY car. lol Plus, I still need to learn how to drive a stick... >.<

It would be a short step for me to go from law-abiding citizen to wanted felon if someone let me get in those cars. lol I always want to look, but in all honesty, no one should ever let me touch because I'll wring every last horse out of those cars and do something stupid that would make it end up like that split Enzo. Bwaha.

Nothing like learning how to drive stick on the gated shifter of a Lambo, eh? I wonder if they ask you if you can drive stick before they stick you in one (pun not intended)? I could see the groan and crunch from the Ford GT right now. They'd probably put you in one of the paddle-shift Ferraris.

Anyway, my opinion is to find some rich friends and go nuts. The cost is too much for what they want and I bet they won't let you do a high speed run on the interstate either. devilsmile

Nah, those cars are too fast for police chases to be any fun...you need something like a GTO or Shelby GT500 or something to have a good time in a police chase. laugh

I'm quite sure you will have to demonstrate ability before they let you under the wheel...and I'm quite sure they have pretty controlled conditions...especially given the crew of former race drivers they employ.

Yeah, like that.

That's the GT with like 27 miles on it. The guy crashed it on his way home from buying it because he decided to open her up on a twisty New England road.

Nooooooob. Bet that damaged his ego.

He's lucky he crashed into that lone pole rather than driving it off the bridge.

wonder what the total-loss threshold is at for a car like that? Even with the airbags deployed, I bet it would take an act of Congress to total that car.

It depends. They're a limited run, I bet only a few people can work on them, and you know Ford has jacked up replacement part price. Those cars actually sell for more than they list.

One day I will own a GT40 kit car. It is my dream car... I just can't afford a real one. The Ford GT isn't really true to the original anyway.
