A little while ago I made a deal with a guy on ClugGP named Oksooner89.
The deal was for a top swap. The deal was My Amp + My gauges + 20 dollars cash to help for shipping, and a delayed payment (after I received the top swap to my door) that I would pay him $100 dollars (clearly stated by me in a signed document saying I would only pay him 100 by Dec 25 if the top swap (listed off parts) were shipped to my house and delivered. I shipped out my amp to him + gauges, and money.
Of course you all know I decided not to go top swap, so I canceled the transaction with him but of course knowing that he was nice enough to allow the deal to me I told him to keep gauges and money and send back the amp. He agreed that this was good. I wait for a week or so and then PM again asking if amp has been shipped. I get a response saying he was too busy, so I figure ill wait a little bit longer, now that I've Pm'ed him I'm not getting a reply and it has been 2 weeks. Is there anything I can do in this situation?

Do you have documentation of the cancellation of the transaction, or do you have emails stating this info? That'll help.

Post it in the Buyers/Sellers section of ClubGP, let the ClubGP "police" have at him till you get your stuff back.

We'll im giving the guy a second chance with this giving him benefit of doubt that he is indeed busy. So I sent him a PM stating that if he doesn't give me a response in 2 days I will post giving bad feedback and explaining the issue.

Posted in fraud section at club gp, I hope they can help me with this. The guy always got mad at me when I left him messages on club gp asking about the top swap, he would briefly list off the pieces and didn't have time to get pictures for me. I'm glad I canceled it because that amp I was going to sell to dre da gpman to help him finish off the system I sold to him. Now I don't think that'll happen cause the guy seems suspicious and I bet he will hang onto the amp.

In the future I suggest just paying with money for items, don't make crazy deals.

Thanks. Even if it is a "crazy" deal it is still a $200 dollar amp that is mine and needs to be shipped back because transaction was canceled. Then he agreed to send it back and it's been two weeks and nothing has been sent to me and he hasn't been on Club GP to respond. Last time I ever do business on ClubGP if I don't get amp back.

You won't find better deals anywhere else. CGP has more people that anywhere else even GPONA. GPF is where the real scumbags are like TDC racing.
Idk I'm biased because CGP is the only forum with people knowledgeable about turbo setups that and Ive picked up loads of parts on there for usually less then half their price retail.

What you got on that dude? I got my brake kit from him, but he does seem a little odd. Is he selling those phenolic cores for IC still or trying to?

Man.. I was talking with that oksooner guy over texts and emails.. and he just seemed fishy.. I just decided to not deal with him.. I saw you making a deal with him for the amp, on the same top swap he was promising to sell me..
He was telling me he could accept paypal, but then last second was asking if I could just send cash, since he just "needed" the money so bad.. and didn't want to have to wait for the paypal to transfer to his bank..
He was insistant I either sent him cash or a money order, just didn't sit well with me, so I just stopped communicating with him..
Almost pm'd you to ask how your deal went with him.. since I noticed right after he disappeared from the forum quick, and in the days previous he was listing lots of stuff for sale and pretty active. Guess this post answers my question..

Guess this post answers my question.. I talked to him over Texts and PMing as well and it seemed alright but with him basically saying nothing about shipping my amp out has made me concerned (he only mentioned how busy he was), but im sure at some point in the two weeks he could find time to ship out an item that no longer belonged to himself. I know that going back on a transaction (after pretty much having it all set up) isn't the best thing, but when I let him keep gauges and some money I think that was nice on my part, but who knows maybe he will be keeping an amp as well.

If nothing is resolved, you have his number, take it to the local Police where he lives and have them get ahold of him. He "stole" over $100 worth of product, thats a felony.

If he doesn't respond usually a threat with small claims and having it written by a lawyer or someone you know in law school usually gets them to ship it back. Just have it say if such purchased item is not returned by blank date legal measures will be taken into the full prosecution blank state and justice department. etc etc. Send it in the mail not through a PM.
If he was too busy to ship it back odds are he won't want to do a small claims court any time soon.

A moderator on club gp replied that it could be just because something is up with him and he has to be offline. However I find it suspicious he will not return any texts or answer calls and will not login to clubgp. It's coming up on the 3rd week now of not getting it back after I told him to send it back both PM and Text Message. I'm hoping the moderator at club gp can help me but without this guy signing in what else can i do?

Do not buy from anyone that does not have all their info posted up on their profile, and has been around a while with a lot of posts. Even then, you can get screwed.

Here is some information I found on Chris Wilbank of Norman, OK, I'm obviously not alone on this one. http://www.g2ic.com/forums/showthread.php?t=186715 Also a few other guys on club gp have had issues with not getting there stuff back (one guy bought 400 dollars worth of items from him and hasn't received them). http://www.clubgp.com/newforum/tm.asp?m=...de=1&s=#5120721 Christopher Willbank 116 W Ridge Rd Norman, OK 73069 I've contacted the police and left a complaint and will be getting a call back shortly regarding it.

I allowed him up to 2 weeks before I started to complain. We made an agreement via text (still have it saved) that he would send out my amp by 12 (noon) yesterday. So I waited till noon, and I had no text with tracking number. He said he would have the tracking number to me earlier then that. It's been a day now since the agreement (only now coming up on a month), I still have no amp. Wouldn't you be a slightly mad with this person who has lied many times to you now?

I'm done giving this person the benefit of the doubt. He has lied to me several times, said he would send back, then comes up with many excuses as to why hes busy. Says his phone is shut off but yet he still receives texts. Also leaves and stays off club gp for a week or so.
Another fishy thing that came up was he also asked if he could buy the amp from me for cheap and I said to send it back.
