Did anyone else see the live broadcast of this race? Bill Weber had a faux pas. You know how sometimes when they call a race, the winner beats the second place car? Yet other times, if it is close, first place holds off second.

Well, when describing Mark Martin's Talledga win, yes Bill Weber combined the beat with the off and uttered the immortal "Mark Martin beat off...to win at Talledga."

Bill caught himself, and quickly corrected. Oh to have had TIVO.

I saw it. I'm not to thrilled with "shorty" Bill Weber. I liked it better when the other guy was in the booth. His name has left my brain for the moment.

Allen Bestwick!

Bestwick is a good broadcaster. I saw him down on pit lane now. You are right, they need to bring him back up to the booth. He was always excellent when he did the MRN broadcasts.

I know it's a bit childish to laugh at, but I found it funny.
