As in ike used but good condition ones, shoot me a pm.

I'd like to try and get a full-size IC for cheap instead of an SS IC for retail.

I saw a couple on clubgp for just a hair over $100., but you've got to be fast to grab them there.

The whole IC or just the core?

$100 for the full thing is a STEAL.

$100 for a CORE is a steal.

But I checked club GP today and all the ICs I saw were either sold, pending payment, or for Gen V s/c.

And I think he probably meant $1000.

$1000 sounds more like it, though I think I've seen a few for $700

just wait for the new design to come out. People with lots of money will be dumping the "old" style, for people like you and i to scoop up on the cheap(er)

Yah, and Ordonez has a layout for everything else needed after you get the core, for the whole setup!
Cheaper than ZZP or other vendors, piecing together items!

how long until the new designs start coming in?

The core really is the most expensive part of the kit. I mean, you can get a pump, radiator, and hoses for a couple hundred, but the core will run you like $500-$1500 depending on what you get.

Missed a digit.

As far as new IC, the only options I think are ZZP with their SS/S2 and Thrasher with some expensive contraption. What happened to the MAP cores? WBS is supposed to be releasing something new, but add that to their 'list' of things unreleased (new blower, new 'non-slip' belt tensioner, new headers).

ZZP's S2 core goes for $750 new. Kits with used cores are like Ptuners. Everyone seems to want what they paid. It's like that one in Steve posted in the other thread. He wants $850 for an older core revision setup. That's probably what it cost him at that time (though its cheaper than current kits). Notice he said he converted it to 3/4" lines? It must have been one of the old 1/2" cores.

Actually, that's the guy I pm'd over on club GP.

I'm going to see if I can order a Gen3 IC core frame from ZZP and just use the inner core form that kit.

I'd much rather get a used full-sized IC instead of a new SS IC.

Although, figure $850 for the IC, maybe $200 for the frame, $150 for the injector spacers and smaller pulley, maybe I should just get the SS IC.

I'm not really looking to run in the 12s. Mid-high 13s are fine for me.

your setup now is good for mid-high 13s.

I ran a top swap, headers, and stock pulley and cut a 13.9. You just need to get your 60's down and tune

I am sure you have lots to gain from tuning, you just aren't experienced yet. My tuner guy learns something new to do everytime we tune the gtp. There is sooo much to gain from tuning, and it can never be perfect, always room for tweaking. You can gain more mpg and more HPs!

I think maybe I will jsut get the SS IC.

Because if I get that, another puley (I'm thinking 3.25") and a wideband, I can actually start tuning again.

My car is doing VERY well for having NO way to adjust it's fueling.

I'm getting like 18 city and 25 highway if I stay off the gas pedal.

Does anybody have any suggestions on tuning with a WB 02 sensor? I don't think I'm ever going to be plugging the normal sensor in again, unless it's for emissions.

get the JAW controller and a wideband sensor out of a new volkswagen.

You can get this whole setup for about 100-150 bucks

A SSIC with all the supporting mods (cam, headers, etc.) should be good enough for 12s.
