I'm looking for a decent CAD software program. I just need it for home use and a little tinkering around. Does anyone have a not too expensive favorite?

I used Bit Torrents to get Autocad 2005. If you search around you can find it "inexpensive". It's just not entirely legal.

Ditto. It is quite in-depth, though.

Good point. I was trained on AutoCAD from a college internship, so I already knew it.

It's a way of compressing files. Sort of like when you zip a file.

you can go to a site like www.torrentspy.com to learn more. You'll need to download the program that "opens" a bit torrent file, but then you are set.

Sorry I don't really have a lot of time to explain.
