Sorry to bore everyone with more pics of the GTO, but I love this car! I know it's not to everyone's taste, but it has shown itself to be a great all-around vehicle.

So here is a folder full of fresh pictures of the still-nameless Blue on Blue goat

this is probably my favorite of the bunch:

Very nice.
I got to drive a brand new one the other day. 6.0, M6. I loved it. Really makes me want one, bad.

Reflection - just washed and waxed it, so every little thing was reflecting - including small white rocks in my front lawn.

Bobby - get one. You want one. You need one. Yes... give in to the dark side...

edit: in the next month or so I've got JBA shorty headers (long-tubes would never fly in NC emissions) followed by a dyno-tune. Should be interesting to see the results

I really love the GTOs, they are just too expensive for me. I'm driving my GTP to the ground.

That car is sweet.... I can see a bunch of little hints of the old F-body in that interior, like the door panels, the bottom half of the seats, passenger side of the dash. Sure makes me want my WS-6 back devilsad

When my GP was not working out the way I wanted it to go I went to GM and test drove a few cars to buy? I drove the CTS-V and the GTO, I was a little rusty on my gears changes but I got into the groove again, and boy does that GTO move. After GM i went ot my bank to ask about the loan so i can buy the GTO they said N/p but my insurance company said how is 8,600 every six months. and all my hopes and dreams got shot down. So I said I will say with my GP, and just mod the hell out of it.

just ran an allstate quick quote. for a 19 year old non married male with two speeding infractions, its a mere $5370 for 6 months. So pretty much the insurance company is telling me to bend over and grab my ankels.

I must admit, you're a funny guy Tastybake.

I found something very interesting though. For kicks I got a quote on a carrera gt and for standard insurance its $9,350. Thats still less than D's quote of $10k for a gto.

well, I have to back up and add something. that previous quote was for no speeding tickets cuz they wouldnt insure me if I told the truth. That being said, the quote for the Brooklyn Zip is actually cheaper, yes I said cheaper than the 48111 zip I live in. Only a mere $8,360 every 6 months. So D, I think you should ditch the GTO idea and got for a porsche carerra gt instead. you'd be saving $2,280 a year by owning the porsche...that might be enough to cover a few speeding tickets, or for a months car payment.
